WBC Muaythai European Championship Defence Policy
The WBCMT policy is to offer opportunities to fighters to compete for its titles, and thus the WBCMT seeks to prevent titles from being frozen due to inactivity by champions.
Therefore a WBCMT champion should strive to defend the title in mandatory or voluntary defence within the one year unless a written exception or extension is granted by the WBCMT European committee.
European champions have an obligation to defend their titles within a period of one year from the date of their first championship win or, from the date of their most recent championship defense.
Upon expiration of one year the WBCMT reserves the right to declare the title vacant.
